ABOUT ME

Hello my name is Bethani House. I have been pursuing my bachelor’s in science of mathematics 4-8 Education degree here at West Texas A&M. All of my life I've known I've wanted to do something with kids. My grandmother worked at Canyon ISD for a couple of years in the special education department, whereas my mother has worked with pre-K for several years now. Seeing teaching in action has inspired me to do so as well. I've always enjoyed my math classes and found myself flying through them with ease. I would come up with my own strategies that might work for me, or even little sayings or songs that would help me remember specific concepts. I hope to inspire my future students and encourage them in their learning. I recently learned how to incorporate formative and informative assessment within my future classroom and how I can successfully and efficiently do so, in relation to the concept I am teaching. Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing the piano, singing, making jewelry, and helping in the nursery at the church I attend in Amarillo, Harvest Connexion.
